It is a good day to be in with books and music and paper and paints.
I have definately gained +watercolour skills many times over this past few months. I'm still a bit baffled as to how that occured but I am pleased with the results. Currently waiting for a stretched inked piece to completely dry (you make the paper wet as you tape it to the board so it doesn't go crazy wrinkly while you're painting) so that I can mask off sections and start the base washes on it. This'll be the biggest single piece of art that I wasn't forced into by an art teacher - I always wanted to work small, this was disapproved of for some reason. Well biggest not counting my kimono painting anyway, thats a whole different category of work altogether.
My room is covered painted things and beaded things at the moment. I guess that means I should catch up on some scanning and photographing so I can post 'em in various places doesn't it? I wish I didn't hate this computer so much.
